This policy explains what personal data Variety Design collects through variety.com.my, why, and what you can do about it. It follows the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (PDPA), including the 2024 amendments, and uses clear opt in consent for cookies in the style of the GDPR.
1. Who is responsible
Variety Design (SSM 201403169934 / SA0302329-T), Klang, Selangor, trading as Variety D.
Variety Design is the registered business name. Variety D. is the brand name used on the website and social media.

2. What is collected

Variety Design does not ask for identity card numbers, bank details or card numbers through this website. Please do not send them through the form.
3. Why it is used
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To see which pages lead to enquiries, so the site can improve.
- To measure advertising results, if you accept marketing cookies.
- To keep business records, such as quotes and invoices.
- To meet legal duties, such as tax and accounting rules.
Personal data is not sold. It is not used for marketing messages unless you ask for them.
4. Your consent
By submitting the enquiry form, you agree to Variety Design using the details you typed to reply to you. For cookies, nothing except the essential cookie is used before you choose. You can accept all, reject non essential, or pick by category. Rejecting does not stop you from using the site or sending an enquiry.
You can withdraw consent at any time. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or email kenneth@variety.com.my.
Enquiry form tick box. The form includes an unticked box that reads: "I have read the Privacy Policy and agree to Variety Design using my details to reply to my enquiry." The form cannot be sent until the box is ticked. Variety Design keeps a record of the date and time with each enquiry.
5. Who sees it
Enquiry details go to Kenneth Phua. They may be stored in Google Workspace tools such as Gmail and Google Sheets, and pass through WhatsApp and email providers.

Data may also be shared where the law requires it, such as with a court or regulator.
6. Data sent outside Malaysia
The website itself is hosted on servers in Malaysia. Google and Meta, which provide the analytics, advertising and messaging tools, may process data on servers outside Malaysia. By accepting the relevant cookies or sending an enquiry, you agree to this transfer. Variety Design uses only providers that publish their own security and privacy commitments.
7. How long it is kept

8. Security
Personal data is protected with access controls, strong passwords and two step sign in where available. No online system is completely safe. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, Variety Design will tell you and the Personal Data Protection Commissioner, as the PDPA requires.
9. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data held about you, to limit its use, or to receive the data you gave in a common format so you can move it to another provider.
Email kenneth@variety.com.my. Variety Design aims to reply within 21 days. A reasonable fee may apply to some access requests, as the PDPA allows. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia.
10. Children
This website is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. If a child has sent personal data, email kenneth@variety.com.my and it will be deleted.
11. Links to other sites
Links to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other sites follow those sites' own privacy terms.
12. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be shown on the site.

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Variety Design uses four kinds. Only essential cookies run before you choose.
